Project description
Promotional documentary produced for the African Food Sovereignty Alliance to support international advocacy and donor engagement. The film was screened at COP 2025 in Brazil as part of the organisation’s campaign efforts. Shot across Zambia and Zimbabwe, the documentary follows smallholder farmers and highlights indigenous agroecological practices as sustainable responses to contemporary agricultural challenges. Through on-site interviews and observational footage, the film explores the structural barriers farmers face, including restrictive seed and agricultural policies, while demonstrating how traditional knowledge systems empower communities to build resilience and secure food sovereignty.

Project description
Documentary film produced to showcase FastTrack+, a finalist for the WISE Prize for Education 2025. The programme is an accelerated foundational learning initiative designed to improve literacy and numeracy for displaced and underserved children in crisis and low-resource settings. Filmed in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Abuja, Nigeria, the documentary highlights the programme’s impact within challenging humanitarian contexts. Through on-site interviews and observational footage, the film explores how community-driven education initiatives help rebuild access to learning, strengthen foundational skills, and create pathways for children affected by displacement.

Documentary film produced for the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders Impact Expedition to Kakuma Refugee Camp in 2019. The initiative forms part of the Kakuma Refugee Settlement Project, a cross-community collaboration between the Forum of Young Global Leaders and the Global Shapers Community aimed at narrowing the achievement gap for refugees through education and leadership development. The expedition brought together Young Global Leaders from 11 countries to deliver an Executive Leadership Module to emerging leaders from the refugee and host communities, fostering entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities within the camp. The film documents programme activities, participant experiences, and community engagement, capturing the project’s mission to empower refugee communities and mobilise global networks for sustainable impact.

Documentary film produced for the digital series The Nature of Building: Biodiversity & the Built Environment, highlighting innovative approaches to sustainable construction and climate-responsive development. The film explores how the construction industry is addressing environmental challenges as global urban populations continue to grow. Featuring the Centre for Worldwide Sustainable Construction, the documentary showcases initiatives such as the LC3 Project (Low Carbon Cement), which significantly reduces carbon emissions by replacing traditional clinker with locally sourced materials. Through expert interviews and on-site footage, the film presents emerging solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the built environment while supporting sustainable urban development.

Documentary film produced for a filmmaking contest organised by Crans-Montana Tourisme, following Salvadoran street artist Abraham Osorio during the Vision Art Festival 2018. The Vision Art Festival transforms the alpine landscape of Crans-Montana into an open-air museum, bringing urban art to high-altitude environments. Artists from around the world create large-scale works across the resort and mountain slopes, between 1,500 and 3,000 metres above sea level, reimagining public space and the natural environment through street art. The film documents the creative process and artistic vision behind Osorio’s work, capturing the interaction between urban artistic expression and the unique alpine setting. The project received an honorary award in the competition.

Campaign film produced in partnership with Procter & Gamble as part of the #WeSeeEqual initiative, aimed at raising awareness and mobilising action for gender equality worldwide. The project brought together a global community of more than 7,000 young people through the Global Shapers network, launching a call for grassroots solutions to advance gender equality. Over 100 city-based hubs submitted proposals, with selected projects receiving support to implement local initiatives. The film highlights the campaign’s global reach and its focus on empowering communities to drive meaningful social change.
